We will leave in the late morning from the jetty "Marina Vento di Maestrale" of Trapani and after a short stop to introduce Trapani and the small isle of Formica that will introduce us to the Egadi Islands, we will head towards the beautiful and evocative Island of Marettimo.

Once arrived we will not miss a single moment, going immediately to the discovery of the Coves and Caves of the island, kindly accompanied by a local guide on their boat. On the return you will find a nice welcome toast waiting for you and we will move under the castle of Punta Troia for an excellent aperitif surrounded by a wonderful sunset.

In the late afternoon we will take a shower and dinner at Pirata, an excellent local restaurant where you can taste traditional delicacies. After this dinner we will meet at the Tramontana bar, where we will drink together a concluding drink and return to Trapani.

Marettimo boat trip, all about the island

During the Marettimo boat tour you will have the opportunity to discover the most beautiful coves and caves of the island, also accompanied by a local guide, who will be able to tell you the stories and legends that embrace each of these destinations.

Among the most beautiful attractions to visit in Marettimo we certainly have the Cave of the Camel, so named for its shape that almost seems to be this animal crouching on its legs. Inside this cave you can also see the face of the animal carved by nature itself. Besides, it used to be a shelter for the Monk Seals and it is said that they are returning to inhabit this island. It's a real show.

Another splendid cave is the Grotta del Tuono, where the waves break when the sea is rough creating these roars very similar to yours, accompanied by Grotta della Pipa, which continues towards the interior of the island for about a hundred meters, ending with a freshwater tank where inside have been found very ancient finds that let us understand how it was inhabited in the past.

Then there is the splendid Grotta Perciata, which crosses from one side to the other giving the illusion of crossing the rock and where you can see many stalagmites, limestone deposits and stalactites. Not to mention its seabed, which is partly sandy, manages to give wonderful colours and spectacles.
